A High School student and a talented musician Kamikurata Kyouta and his friends Kojima Junichi, and Hirota Shingo are trying to make it big with their rock band “Traffic Light Signal“. Just when things are starting to go well Kyouta finds out that he and his girlfriend Sannou Yoriko are involved in a war between five supernatural fractions and that he possesses the power to save Yoriko.
Last but not least in the Musical Anime Top Aquarian Age makes its appearance. Combining awesome rock music and supernatural powers the series hoked me in for good and even made me watch it twice.

The soundrack by Yuki Kajiura and the opening and ending themes are very beautiful. The story with it’s twists and turns makes you wonder what will happen next each time the episode ends. At first you might be discouraged by the “supernatural powers” part of the Anime, but it really spices things up.
Aquarian Age – Sign for Evolution is definitely one of my favorite series about music, since it is about a band that is trying to go pro, which makes it very inspiring.
Here are the Opening and Endings
It also has some love-romance in it. Check out this AMV.
